Centre for IT & eGovernance

The Center IT&E-Governance Cell was established in 2007. The Center trains on computer literacy of Panchayat Raj and Rural development functionaries. It caters to the need of computerization of different centers in TSIRD.

The Center is working on TSIRDWIKI for collaborative e-learning, Learning Management System LMS and Panchayathi Raj Comprehensive Help Line.

Activities

  • Organizing Training Programmes on e-Panchayat Applications & ICT Skills on Computers
  • Organizing Training Programmes on Grama Jyothi Online Software
  • Providing IT facilities & its maintenance to all Centres
  • Maintenance of Server.
  • Maintenance of online Training File Management Systems (e-TFMS)

Hard ware and Maintenance Division

  • Planning and overseeing purchase and maintenance of computers and related equipment
  • To establishment LAN systems and provide 365 x 24 x 7 connectivity for training programmes, library use, faculty and trainee participants in the campus.
  • Maintenance Video Conferencing equipment and VC facility
  • Maintenance of e-learning Centre including computers and other hardware
  • Providing Internet access on the campus and integrating Internet into the training programmes
  • TSIRD Wi-Fi campus
